Job Description: As a Junior Retail Media Ads Specialist, you will be an integral part of our marketing team, working closely with world-leading brands to ensure their success in reaching and engaging their future consumers. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Campaign Management: Creating, implementing, and optimizing retail media ad campaigns across various platforms, such as:

    • Amazon South Africa: Leveraging Amazon Advertising to boost product visibility and drive sales.
    • Google Shopping: Optimizing product listings and ads to attract relevant traffic.
    • Jumia: Managing sponsored listings and ad placements on one of the world’s largest online marketplaces.
  2. Data Analysis: Analyzing performance metrics and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for improvement and make data-driven decisions to enhance campaign effectiveness.

  3. Creative Content: Collaborating with the creative team to develop engaging and impactful ad content that resonates with the target audience.

  4. Client Communication: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing proactive solutions to drive their business growth.

  5. Market Research: Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, competitor analysis, and emerging technologies to stay ahead of the curve in the retail media advertising landscape.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in English and any additional local languages spoken in South Africa would be an advantage.
